University College London Sub-Saharan Africa Master’s Scholarships at UCL Founded in 1826, University College London is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of London (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, University College London (UCL) is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: 35,000-39,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University College London (UCL) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 193 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the Bartlett Promise Sub-Saharan Africa Master’s Scholarship, interested applicants are to meet the following criteria:

  • Be a national of one of the Bartlett’s approved list of Sub Saharan African (SSA) countries and resident in an eligible SSA country.
  • Must not hold a British or dual British citizenship.
  • Have an offer of admission to a Bartlett master’s programme for study in 2022/23 which is either unconditional or conditional only on English language assessment.
  • Be in financial need as assessed by UCL.
