University College London in partnership with International Students House (ISH) is offering these awards: the IOE – International Student House Centenary Scholarship, and the Mary Trevelyan Centenary Scholarship (in honour of the founder of ISH).

University College London IOE-ISH Masters Scholarships for Developing Countries Founded in 1826, University College London is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of London (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, University College London (UCL) is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: 35,000-39,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University College London (UCL) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 193 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Be citizens and residents of a low or lower-middle income country (as per World Bank website).
  • Have an offer to study a full time masters degree in London at the UCL Institute of Education (October 2021 start).
  • Not have studied or lived in the UK before.

Offered Benefits

  • ISH will provide accommodation for a year, while the IOE covers tuition fees.
  • These scholarships do not cover subsistence in London or travel.
