Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, as part of its mission to foster relationships with developing countries, offers a special programme to meritable students from the African continent. This programme enables eligible candidates to study an English-taught 2-year graduate degree / Laurea Magistrale with a tuition and university fees reduction.

Founded in 1921, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Catholic University of the Sacred Heart) is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Milan (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Lombardia. Eligibility Criteria
Students, either citizens or residents, of all African countries may apply for the Africa Scholars Programme.
Admission requirements for all 2-year graduate degrees include:
- Completion of a Bachelor Degree from a recognized university with 2nd class upper division / 2.1 degree final classification, or higher.
- Proof of proficiency in English.
An application fee of 75€ is due to submit the candidacy. Check the application procedure.
Offered Benefits
The tuition and university fees (after reduction) are as follows:
- Published Tuition: €9,050
- Tuition fee reduction: €5,870 per year
- Tuition to be paid: €3,480 per year
However, students will still be responsible for their own living expenses, hence the Università Cattolica Africa Scholars Programme is NOT a programme through which full scholarships can be obtained.
Application Process
- Select the degree program of your choice. You may select up to two programs. Your application will be considered for your first choice only. If your application is unsuccessful, we will automatically consider you for the second choice.
- Create your account, fill out the online form and upload the required documents (listed in the guidelines)
- Pay the application fee (75€, non-refundable) and submit your application. We will start processing your application after the payment of the application fee has been received: check that the status of the application in your Self Service Center is “Applied and paid”. - Italian fiscal code, if available
- Copy of your high school diploma
- Copy of your bachelor degree - if already available
- Official transcripts of the bachelor degree including grading and credit system explanation

- Motivation letter – in a couple of paragraphs explain why you want to study with us
- Academic reference – you can use the fields “Additional documents 1/2/”
- GRE/GMAT score report (Optional).
