A sponsored project called the United Nations Tourism Internship gives young people the chance to work at UN Tourism and acquire professional experience.
International students may occasionally be considered for a United Nations Tourism Internship, contingent on the student's qualifications and the requirements of the Organization's work programme.
The UN Tourism seeks to promote tourism, which is sustainable and available to all, through the internship programme.
In addition, the UN Tourism provides a number of other job openings after a rigorous, competitive hiring procedure that considers applicants' educational background, prior foreign work experience, and language proficiency, among other factors.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the United Nations Tourism Internship, you must:
- Be enrolled in a university programme or have recently completed one.
- Be in possession of an all-risk insurance, valid for the duration of the internship.
- Submit an application received through the UN Tourism’s web-based system.
Offered Benefits
- All Interns will receive a Monthly Stipend of EUR 500 to cover the Transportation expenses in Spain.
- The UN will assist in getting a Visa with an invitation letter and other necessary documents.
- The maximum duration of the internship can be one year.
