Ulster University TESOL Scholarship for International Students in UK for Course Established in 1968, Ulster University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the medium-sized town of Coleraine (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Northern Ireland. This institution has also branch campuses in the following location(s): Belfast, Jordanstown, Derry. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, Ulster University is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 25,000-29,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Ulster University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: International (excluding UK & RoI)
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: Any subject offered by the university, specifically MA Teaching of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL)
  • Admissible Criteria: To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Must be classified as an international (excluding UK & RoI), self-funding student paying the international tuition fee rate
  • Must hold an offer for one of the listed programmes
  • The full-time, postgraduate programme must be delivered at the Coleraine campus, commencing in September 2024
  • Must meet any academic and/or English language conditions as stated in the offer letter
  • Students applying to part-time or eLearning programmes, or to programmes delivered at branch campuses (London or Birmingham), are not eligible for this award.

Application Process

Applicants do not need to apply separately for this award, as all eligible students are automatically considered for it upon meeting the specified criteria.
