Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for a scholarship, you must be: 1. An American citizen.2. Enrolled as a full-time student in the academic year 2017-2018 at an accredited higher education institution, studying for a degree in music.

Application guidelines:

1. Each applicant must submit one of the following:a) A 300-500 word essay describing why you strive to pursue a degree in music and develop in the field. We are looking for essays that are well-written, intriguing, and thoughtful.b) A short (1-3 min.), creative video uploaded publicly to YouTube, showcasing your musical abilities.

The assignment should be sent to scholarships@ukulelemusicinfo.com with the subject of Scholarship Application for [Student Name] and must include all of the following:a) Full name, email address, major, name and website of college or university, matriculation date, and graduation date.b) A copy of the current academic transcript.c) A 300-500 word essay or link to YouTube video, on the topic stated above.d) Entries must be submitted by March 15, 2018.
