Ukraine Conflict Distance Learning Sanctuary Scholarship at University of Leicester, UK for Master Established in 1957, University of Leicester is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the small city of Leicester (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), East Midlands. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, University of Leicester is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 15,000-19,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Leicester offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study.   • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
  • Applicants can be based anywhere in the world and hold any nationality but must be able to demonstrate that the conflict in Ukraine has created a barrier to higher education for them.
  • Applicants must have regular access to the internet.
  • The university welcomes applications from those who were displaced from Ukraine but did not qualify for the Homes for Ukraine scheme in the UK.
  • They will determine eligibility on a case-by-case basis.

Offered Benefits

The University of Leicester will provide a full fee waiver for applicants holding any nationality and applying for a distance learning master course.
