The University of Eastern Finland sees the Wood Materials Science as a field of the future, which is worth investing in. In order to attract talented new students to the programme, we offer a scholarship scheme through which grants are given to outstanding students on a competitive basis. In 2018, we will award eight scholarships of 24,000 EUR and eight scholarships of 19,200 EUR to the top non-EU/EEA students to cover the tuition fee fully or partially *).

UEF MSc Wood Materials Science scholarships of 24,000 EUR for Master Founded in 2010, Itä-Suomen yliopisto (University of Eastern Finland) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Joensuu (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), North Karelia. This institution has also branch campuses in the following location(s): Kuopio. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Opetus- ja kulttuuriministeriö, Suomi (Ministry of Education and Culture, Finland), Itä-Suomen yliopisto (UEF) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 15,000-19,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Itä-Suomen yliopisto (UEF) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis and can be applied together with the study place. MSc in Wood Materials Science warmly welcomes talented and enthusiastic students from all over the world to apply. The minimum eligibility criteria are: Bachelor´s or equivalent engineering degree*) in e.g., bioeconomy, material technology, environmental engineering, biology, chemistry, applied physics, forest sciences, or forest products marketing; andGood command of the English language (IELTS 6.5, TOEFL 90, PTE 59).
