The University of Eastern Finland sees the Wood Materials Science as a field of the future, which is worth investing in. In order to attract talented new students to the programme, we offer a scholarship scheme through which grants are given to outstanding students on a competitive basis. In 2018, we will award eight scholarships of 24,000 EUR and eight scholarships of 19,200 EUR to the top non-EU/EEA students to cover the tuition fee fully or partially *).

The minimum eligibility criteria are: Bachelor´s or equivalent engineering degree*) in e.g., bioeconomy, material technology, environmental engineering, biology, chemistry, applied physics, forest sciences, or forest products marketing; andGood command of the English language (IELTS 6.5, TOEFL 90, PTE 59).
