UCL Humanitarian Scholarships in UK for Master Founded in 1826, University College London is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of London (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, University College London (UCL) is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: 35,000-39,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University College London (UCL) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 193 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: All countries outside the United Kingdom.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship is open for full-time Master’s degree programs in any subject offered by UCL. (Distance learning and part-time Master’s programs are not eligible.)
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must:
    • Be at serious risk as a result of armed conflict and/or displaced within the last three years due to armed conflict, seeking international protection outside the UK.
    • Be eligible to pay the Overseas fee rate.
    • Come from a lower-income background, as defined by UCL.
    • Not already hold a qualification at the same or higher level as the course applied for.
    • Hold an offer for a full-time Master’s program at UCL by the start of June 2025.

Offered Benefits

  • Full coverage of tuition fees for the normal duration of the program.
  • Maintenance payment to cover accommodation and living costs (approximately £20,000).
  • Allowance for the Immigration Health Surcharge, visa fees, and one return flight.
  • The scholarship is tenable for one year unless the program is two years in length.
