The School PhD Scholarship 2024 seeks to attract talented individuals with a passion for computer science and a desire to make significant contributions to academia and industry. The program aims to foster research excellence and innovation in areas such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Security, Next Generation of Networks, Bioinformatics and Health Informatics, HCI and Multimedia, Software, and Distributed Systems.

UCD School of Computer Science International PhD Scholarships in Ireland Established in 1854, University College Dublin is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the medium-sized city of Dublin (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), County Dublin. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Department of Education and Skills, Ireland, University College Dublin (UCD) is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: 30,000-34,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University College Dublin (UCD) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. This 165 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 20-30% making this Irish higher education organization a very selective institution. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: All nationalities
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: Any subject offered by the university
  • Admissible Criteria: Applicants must meet the following criteria:
    • A 2.1 grade (or equivalent) in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Science, or a similar technical discipline.
    • Some programming ability.
    • Non-native English speakers require at least IELTS 6.5 (with at least 6 in all components) or equivalent.
    • Contact details of two referees.
