UC3M Scholarships for International Students at Charles III University of Madrid for Master Founded in 1989, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (Carlos III University, Madrid) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Getafe (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Madrid Community. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministerio de Educación y Formación Profesional, España (Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, Spain), Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 15,000-19,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Eligibility Criteria

The main admission requirements to the Master’s degree in International Advocacy are to have obtained, or to be in the process of obtaining, prior to commencement of classes, a degree in law or any other degree attesting to their having acquired  the skills and competence established in article 3 of the Regulation on the Law 34/2006 of 30 October on access to the professions of lawyer and court procedural representative, approved by RD 775/2011 of 3 June.

Offered Benefits

For the academic year 2017-18 has been published a call for a maximum of 5 grants for payment of the net enrollment rates for students accepted into the Master, with the following provision:

  • 3 grants of € 1,500
  • 2 grants of € 3,000

Number of Scholarships: There are five scholarships available.

Application Process

Applicants must complete the electronic form. Required documentation to be attached in electronic format:

  • Motivation letter to apply for the scholarship, that can include information about the economic and personal situation of the applicant, completed and signed by the student. This document will be common to all the financial aids for the different masters that the student applies to.
  • If appropriate: financial aids and scholarships obtained in previous studies, indicating the organization or the financial entity and level of studies at wich they are intended and amount.
  • Receipt or proof of having applied for admission to the corresponding Master (pdf issued by the application at the end of the application form).
  • Once the documentation has been submitted, the collegiate body that are constituted for the selection of grant applications, may request additional documents deemed necessary for better understanding of the particular circumstances of each case.
