UC Emerging Leaders’ funding for International Students in New Zealand Established in 1873, University of Canterbury is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the small city of Christchurch (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Canterbury. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry for Tertiary Education, Skills and Employment, New Zealand, University of Canterbury (UC) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 15,000-19,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Canterbury (UC) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 146 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

Citizens from New Zealand and all around the world

Bachelor degree in any subject offered by the university

The applicant must have to complete or be completing, a University Entrance qualification or equivalent, and have studied at secondary level in the year of application.

Offered Benefits

Each successful scholar will get an amount worth up to $6,000.

Application Process

To get involved in this studentship, requisites must have to take admission in the undergraduate degree coursework at the university. When you will get an enrollment at UC, you can apply for the fund.

You are needed to attach the copies of previous degree certificate or other certificates of a corresponding level, brief curriculum vitae (CV), and one copy of a selected written work.

Before you submit your application, you need to check you meet any additional entry requirements for each qualification you plan to study.

To study at UC, you need to have sufficient fluency in written and spoken English.
