UBC Awards for international students 2025-2026 for Bachelor

The International Community Achievement Award recognizes international students who contribute to our campus and communities while maintaining strong academic standing.

Awards up to $10,000 each are available to continuing international undergraduate students who have demonstrated leadership in one or more of the following areas:

  • Community service
  • International engagement
  • Intercultural understanding
  • Promotion of diversity
  • Intellectual, artistic, or athletic pursuits
  • Other campus activities

Eligibility Criteria

You must meet all the following requirements to apply:

  • You must be a continuing international student in a four-year undergraduate degree program at UBC’s Vancouver campus.
  • You must be studying on a Canadian study permit and paying international undergraduate tuition and fees.
  • You must have been registered at the Vancouver campus for the previous Winter Session.
  • You must be registered for the current Winter Session. Students registered in a Go Global Program or Co-operative Education are eligible to apply.

To retain eligibility for international student awards, students should be continuing as an international student. Change in citizenship status or tuition fee rate will affect award eligibility and may result in recovery of award funding.
