TriCouncil (NSERC, SSHRC, CIHR) Doctoral Scholarship at University of Lethbridge 2025 for Fellowship Established in 1967, University of Lethbridge is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Lethbridge (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Alberta. Eligibility Criteria

  • Be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada or an international student.
  • Have completed no more than 36 months of full-time study in their doctoral program by December 31 of the year of application.
  • submit only one doctoral award application in a given academic year.
  • not have already received a doctoral-level scholarship or fellowship from CIHR, NSERC or SSHRC.

International Applicants

  • If you are not a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada, or protected person under subsection 95(2) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (Canada), you must be enrolled in your doctoral program of study at an eligible Canadian institution at the time of application. Up to 15% of awards will be allotted to international applicants.
