Full Scholarships from The University of Economics and Innovation in (WSEI) in Lublin, Poland

The university is offering both Bachelor and Master study programmes in:

  1. Computer Science, First cycle Engineering studies for 45 students (Engineer degree);

  2. Management , First cycle studies for 50 students (Bachelor degree);

  3. Nursing, First cycle studies for 50 students (Bachelor degree);

  4. Economics, Second cycle studies for 50 students. (Master degree).

Foreign students without Polish Card, will be provided with “scholarships” to cover the maintenance costs. These funds will be paid during the whole cycle of education in a given field of study in the academic year. Of course, detailed rules tor funding maintenance costs will be determined in the specific Regulations. The university also offers accommodation in the WSEI Dormitory.

Eligibility Criteria

Students willing to enrol should fulfil following criteria:

  1. Holding a B2 level English language certificate or taking an English language entrance exam.

  2. In the situation where the number of students exceeds the available places – subject exam / points from matriculation certificate

Courses description

Our solution is based on particular European and worldwide trends at the labour market, which will be included in our education programmes. In addition, the courses will be carried out solely in English language and with the fruitful cooperation with foreign partner universities.

Computer Science

  • Newest trends in computer science (2-3 years perspective);

  • The Internet of Things: IoT - applications of sensor networks (mainly wireless), remote control, applications adapting to the conditions, smart buildings / cities, measurement networks (smart grid) and monitoring (visual, environment, risks)

  • The area of data processing (Mainly Called Big Data): Cloud Computing (component technology: parallel processing, Hadoop systems, management of cluster computing: the so-called business intelligence, resource management, platforms, services as a system (PaaS, SaaS), containers and micro services.

  • Adaptive security architecture - current threats overwhelm the capabilities of security systems based on rigid rules, detection and neutralization of potential attacks is the future.

  • And in all the above areas: data security (storage and transmission), the reliability of applications and systems.

Management, First cycle studies

  • Organizational changes in companies, which are one of the most important issues in the field of human resources management. Today, organizations rely on teams with broad competencies and modified management model.

  • The development of leadership and training a new generation of leaders.

  • Modern technologies and breakthrough changes in the business world increasing demand for "the new type of organization" departing from the hierarchical and functional business models in favour of integrated "network teams"; resulting HR digitization, the use of remote working as a way of team building - so that the place of residence does not constitute barriers in acquiring talents.

  • The evolving nature of leadership in the face of new tools and raising self-organization.

  • Empathy and soft skills - the ability to resolve conflicts, diplomacy, confidentiality, accurate evaluation, adaptability skills are the characteristics now desirable in employees.

  • Management in the health sector including cost pressure, adaptation to market requirements, technological progress and digital innovations; the use of medical technologies and data management processes.

Nursing, First cycle studies

New trends in Nursing:

  • palliative care;

  • independent and strongly empowered nursing;

  • oncological care;

  • aging society.

Economics, Second cycle studies

Our training programme will include following subjects

  • international business;

  • globalization of the economy;

  • global trends in business models;

  • Internet-based business management in a multicultural environment;

  • legal aspects of international business, etc.

Exam in English: by mid-July 2017 (exact exam dates will be announced two weeks prior to the examination). Exam results and application results: by 31.07.2017

If necessary, the additional recruitment will be open from 01.08. till 31.08.2017. In that case, the exam in English will take place by 10.09.2017. The exam and application results are to be expected by the end of September.

Classes will start in October 2017.
