This scholarship is being offered in memory of our dear friend and colleague, Milton Smith. His adventurous spirit and determination to live life to its fullest meant that he made the most of every opportunity. We hope recipients of this scholarship will be inspired to do the same.

Open to applicants of Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent who meet the entry requirements of the agreed course.
Students must commence their studies within 3 months of the date they accept the scholarship.

The scholarship will be awarded based on:
A 1-page personal statement that describes:
why you are the right person to receive the scholarship and what it means to youfuture career goalsreasons for your choice of course and how it is linked to your future career
The scholarship recipient will be selected by a panel of Open Colleges staff, including the Training Operation Managers of the chosen courses.
