Calling all talented TVET graduates across Africa! AUDA-NEPAD, in collaboration with Humana People to People, is launching the Africa Skills Revolution Competition. This is your opportunity to shine by sharing your success story and how TVET has empowered you to transform your community.

Eligibility for this competition is open to African youth aged 16 to 35 who have graduated from any Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) program. Applicants must have a compelling career journey or achievement in TVET, demonstrating how their skills have positively impacted their community or sector. They should exhibit passion for their projects, clear aspirations for future growth, and an innovative approach to addressing challenges.AUDA-NEPAD (African Union Development Agency-New Partnership for Africa’s Development) is a strategic agency of the African Union, established to promote sustainable development, economic integration, and policy reform across Africa. Its mission focuses on driving socio-economic transformation by fostering partnerships, implementing programs, and supporting member states in areas such as infrastructure, agriculture, education, health, and skills development.

Offered Benefits

Winners will receive a USD 1,500 award, which can be used to enhance their skills, advance their career, or support entrepreneurial ventures. Some winners may also have the opportunity to attend WorldSkills Africa 2025, showcasing their progress. Additionally, inspiring stories may be featured on AUDA-NEPAD and Humana People to People’s platforms, creating broader awareness and motivation.

Application Process

Applicants must submit their entries in English, Portuguese, or French through the online form provided. The deadline for submission is September 26th, 23:59 (GMT+3). Shortlisted candidates will be announced via email on October 4th, and they must submit a 2-minute video by October 10th, 23:59 (GMT+3). The final winners will be announced during the Awards Ceremony at Africa Skills Week in Accra, Ghana, on October 14th.
