For any applicant to be admitted to Tehran University of Medical Sciences, he or she must meet certain admission criteria. Type C Scholarship:
TUMS provides all students with computer labs, library, and Wi-Fi Internet access at the dormitories, as well as a partial lunch plan. If you apply for TUMS type C scholarship and you are accepted, TUMS provides you with:
free-of-charge registration, free first transport from airport in Tehran, free accommodation, free health & sport insurance, free Persian language classes for students who are interested to attend the classes.
All of the above-mentioned facilities which totally cost $3,925 will be paid by TUMS. Therefore, students are required to pay only their tuition fees.
Some qualified applicants may be accepted to receive one of the TUMS tuition-waiver scholarships (between 1% to 100% discount for the first-year tuition fee), based on their scores obtained in previous degrees. In this case, you might receive between 1 up to 100 percent discount on your first-year tuition fee, and you should pay the rest of the remaining tuition fee. Based on this scholarship, the awarded amount of your first-year tuition fee will be paid by TUMS. This scholarship (tuition-waiver) is for your first academic year and can be extended by TUMS Scholarship Committee on a yearly basis depending on your academic performance at TUMS.
