Applications are being accepted from talented candidates for the Vietnam Student Awards Program. The award is sponsored by the University of Sydney for the academic session 2022/2023.

The scholarship programme aims to provide financial support for students who are going to pursue undergraduate coursework, postgraduate coursework, or postgraduate research degree for the academic session 2021-2022.

Founded in 1859, the University of Sydney is considered one of Australia’s top teaching and research institutions. More than 20 undergraduate degrees and more than 40 postgraduate coursework degrees are available.

Sydney Vietnam Student Scholarships, Australia Established in 1989, Western Sydney University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the large town of Penrith (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), New South Wales. This institution has also branch campuses in the following location(s): Bankstown, Nirimba, Campbelltown, Hawkesbury, Liverpool City, Parramatta South, Parramatta City, Penrith, Sydney City, Sydney Olympic Park, Westmead. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Department of Education and Training, Australia, Western Sydney University (WSU) is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: 40,000-44,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Western Sydney University (WSU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Vietnam
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: undergraduate coursework, postgraduate coursework, or postgraduate research degree in any subject offered by the university.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Be an international student
  • Be a Vietnamese citizen (dual Australian and New Zealand citizens are not eligible)
  • Receive admission into a full-time undergraduate coursework, postgraduate coursework, or postgraduate research degree, commencing in 2022.

Offered Benefits

The scholarship winner will receive a 20% contribution to your tuition fees at the University of Sydney.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: If you want to be enlisted in this educational program, then you are recommended to take admission in an undergraduate, postgraduate, PhD degree coursework at the University of Sydney.
  • Supporting Documents: Candidates must submit academic certificates, curriculum vitae, a personal statement, and a research proposal with their applications.
  • Admission Requirements: To enrol, applicants must meet the entry requirements of the program.
  • Language Requirement: Applicants from outside the home country will often need to meet specific English language requirements in order to be able to study at the university.
