Sydney International Undergraduate Academic Excellence Scholarships, Australia for Bachelor Established in 1989, Western Sydney University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the large town of Penrith (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), New South Wales. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Department of Education and Training, Australia, Western Sydney University (WSU) is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: 40,000-44,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Western Sydney University (WSU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Open to all nationalities
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in any subject offered by the University of Sydney.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must:
    • Have applied for but not yet commenced a single undergraduate coursework degree at the University of Sydney, which has a maximum duration of 4 years.
    • Enroll full-time in their eligible degree.
    • Not be commencing a second degree at the University of Sydney.
    • Be an international student as defined in the Higher Education Support Act 2003. Australian Citizens, Australian Permanent Residents, and dual citizens with Australian nationality are not eligible.
    • Have completed secondary school or a foundation program in Australia or from a University of Sydney recognized foundation partner.
    • Not have previously undertaken any tertiary studies (excluding extension studies completed as part of a year 12 program).

The scholarship will provide the following benefits for the published full-time duration of the recipient’s single undergraduate degree (including embedded honors) up to a maximum total duration of 4 years of full-time study:

  • 100% tuition fees.
  • Student Services Amenities Fee (SSAF).

The indicative turnaround time to receive a scholarship offer is 5 weeks from the submission of the application.
