Swansea University and the University of Edinburgh are pleased to announce a fully funded PhD scholarship in Lattice Field Theory, focusing on extensions of the Standard Model. This prestigious joint program offers candidates the opportunity to engage in cutting-edge research in Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science. The scholarship covers full tuition fees, provides an annual stipend of £19,237, and additional research expenses up to £1,000 per year.
The scholarship is open to candidates of any nationality who hold a UK bachelor’s degree with at least Upper Second Class honors or an equivalent overseas qualification. Alternatively, candidates with a master’s degree with a minimum overall grade at ‘Merit’ are also eligible.Swansea University is a prominent public research institution founded in 1920.
