Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship for Minorities, West Bengal 2018 is a scheme for meritorious students whose family income is less than INR 2.5 lakh per annum. The scheme is totally revamped in the year 2016 to cover more minority students to get benefitted and also the amount of the scholarship increases significantly. The applicant must be studying in class 11-12 and undergraduate and postgraduate level courses including Engineering, Medical, Technical / Professional courses, MPhil, and Doctoral courses.

Eligibility Criteria

Students having domicile of West Bengal, studying in West Bengal only.Students at the higher secondary level, diploma must have at least 75% marks in class 10 excluding optional subjects.Students at the undergraduate level must have at least 75% marks in class 12 including two language subjects on five subjects.Students at postgraduate level must have at least 53% marks in graduation in case of general education or 55% marks in case of engineering.Annual family income must not exceed INR 2,50,000.
