To recognise academic achievement, the Dean's International Excellence Award - Education awards students a merit-based scholarship of £4,000 for entry onto a full-time postgraduate programme in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.

Strathclyde Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Dean’s International Excellence Awards for Master Founded in 1964, University of Strathclyde is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the medium-sized city of Glasgow (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Scotland. Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must:

  • Be available to commence academic studies in the UK by the start of the academic year in January 2021.
  • Have an offer of study for a full-time, postgraduate, Humanities and Social Sciences programme in either MSc TESOL & Intercultural Communication or MSc Education Studies at the University of Strathclyde.
  • Register as an international, fee-paying student.

Application Process

Students who have an offer of study for a postgraduate course in either MSc TESOL & Intercultural Communication or MSc Education Studies in the Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences will be notified if they qualify for the award. Once the tuition fee deposit has been paid, students will receive a scholarship letter confirming the award and the amount of the award. The letter can be used to confirm fees due as part of the Tier 4 Student Visa application.
