The Stephen Young Global Leaders’ Scholarship Programme (SYGL) is dedicated to commemorating the legacy of Professor Stephen Young, who served as the former Head of the Department of Marketing and was a mentor to Dr. Charles Huang during his PhD studies. In memory of Professor Young, the Charles Huang Foundation has generously provided funding to award up to five scholarships annually. These scholarships are intended for outstanding scholars pursuing the Strathclyde MBA on a full-time basis in Glasgow, beginning in September 2024.
The SYGL Scholarship seeks to identify and support outstanding candidates who demonstrate exceptional academic merit and embody the values outlined in our criteria guidelines.
