STEMM merit awards for Southeast Asian Students at RMIT University for Master Established in 1887, RMIT University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Melbourne (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Victoria. This institution has also branch campuses in the following location(s): Bundoora, Brunswick, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Department of Education and Training, Australia, RMIT University (RMIT) is a very large (uniRank enrollment range: over-45,000 students) coeducational higher education institution. RMIT University (RMIT) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. This 132 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

You must:

  • Be a citizen of Indonesia, Thailand, Phillipines, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos or Brunei
  • Apply from Indonesia, Thailand, Phillipines, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos or Brunei
  • Achieve an overall 70% or equivalent in your last completed qualification
  • Not an existing RMIT student
  • Enrol for either Semester 1 (deadline 31 January 2021) or 2 (deadline 31 May 2021) 2021 in an associate degree, bachelor’s degree, or masters by coursework offered by one of the following RMIT School:
    • Engineering
    • Health and Biomedical Sciences
    • Science
  • Applicants with a conditional offer will need to meet the conditions of their offer before they can be awarded the scholarship.
  • Applicants must submit an application for this scholarship

Offered Benefits

The total value of the scholarship is AU$10,000, one-off payment to be paid after the first census date.
