Special Award at World University of Bangladesh for Bachelor Founded in 2003, World University of Bangladesh is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Dhaka (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially accredited and/or recognized by the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh, World University of Bangladesh (WUB) is a medium-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 6,000-6,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. World University of Bangladesh (WUB) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. This 16 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Domestic students are eligible to apply for this award.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: All programs are eligible for such programmes except Bachelor of Education, joint degree programmes with other universities, and post-graduate programmes.
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for this application , applicants must check the following:
  • Candidates who only seek admission in Spring 2020 at any undergraduate programmes of the University are only eligible for this award.
  • Students should be a continuous candidate in the study. Failures in any exams may require candidates for a retake.

Offered Benefits

Applicants will receive 70% of tuition fees accredited towards their study expense. Since this is an open award, candidates who only seek admission in Spring 2020 at any undergraduate programmes of the University are only eligible for this award.

Application Process

  • How to apply: Candidates can apply for a scholarship once they have applied for admission at the WUB. After taking affirmation, you can apply for the award.
  • Supporting Documents: Candidates must have a cv, Motivation letter or Statement of Purpose and all previous year mark-sheets.
  • Admission Requirements: For applying, students need to fulfil the entry requirements of the university.
  • Language Requirement: Students will submit their English language certificate such as TOEFL, IELTS etc
