The scholarship can be accessed by students from foreign countries who are pursuing their master’s studies at the University of Glasgow. The scholarship is valued at a total of £30,000 which is expected to cover tuition fees and maintenance allowance.

Snowdon Trust Master’s Scholarships for International Students in UK Established in 1451, University of Glasgow is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the medium-sized city of Glasgow (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Scotland.   • The applicants must be from an  eligible country .
  • The applicants must be applying for an  eligible master’s programme . 

Offered Benefits

The Scholarship winners will be awarded up to a total of £30,000 divided between a contribution towards fees (up to £15,000) and an allowance /maintenance stipend (up to £15,000 divided between the terms) by the University of Glasgow. 

Application Process

  • How to Apply:  Students are required to first  apply for admission  in their programme of their choice at the University of Glasgow.  Scholarship application  must be submitted separately. 
  • Supporting Documents:  The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
  • A copy (or copies) of official degree certificate(s) 
  • A copy (or copies) of official academic transcript(s), showing full details of subjects studied and grades/marks obtained.
  • Official English translations of the certificate(s) and transcript(s)
  • One reference letter on headed paper
  • Evidence of English language ability 
  • Any additional documents required for this program
  • A copy of the photo page of the passport (Non-EU students only)
  • Admission Requirements:  The applicants must have a 2:1 Honours degree in a field relevant to the programme they are applying for.
  • Language Requirement:  The students must meet the  English language requirements  of their desired programme.
