To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must be female citizens from one of the 10 eligible countries: Bangladesh, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Nigeria, Philippines, Rwanda, South Africa, Thailand, or Vietnam. Candidates must apply and be admitted to a designated STEM-related master’s program in Sweden.Application Deadline: 15 January 2025

When you have applied for one, or more, of the designated master’s programmes through University Admissions and fullfill all criteria, you are automatically considered for the scholarship.

Application Process

Apply for the master’s programme through  universityadmissions.se.

When you have applied for one, or more, of the designated master’s programmes through University Admissions and fullfill all criteria, you are automatically considered for the scholarship.

  1. Select a Master’s Program: Apply between 15 October 2024 and 15 January 2025 through University Admissions.
  2. Notify SI: Let the Swedish Institute know about your application between 1 November 2024 and 15 January 2025.
  3. Receive Notifications: University admissions results will be announced on 27 March 2025, and SI scholarship results will follow on 24 April 2025.
