Seton Hall University is now offering three Research Fellowships, sponsored by NASA through the New Jersey Space Grant Consortium (NJSGC). These $2,000 awards are available for undergraduate students in science, engineering, or mathematics who are eager to engage in research that aligns with NASA’s vision. The fellowships are open to U.S. citizens, with a focus on encouraging applications from underrepresented groups.
To be eligible for the fellowships, applicants must be full-time undergraduate students at Seton Hall University, conduct research in a STEM or aerospace field aligned with NASA’s missions, and have a faculty supervisor. Offered Benefits
Each fellowship provides a $2,000 stipend for the student, which must be used to support research in the STEM or aerospace fields. Recipients are required to submit a 1,000-word report at the conclusion of their project and agree to provide progress and career updates to NASA for up to ten years for statistical purposes.
Application Process
Interested students should submit their applications, including a completed application form and a one-page research project description, approved by their faculty supervisor, by October 18, 2024. Applications will be reviewed by a faculty committee from Seton Hall University’s science departments.
