Sheridan College is introducing the Sheridan Global Advantage Award for international students beginning their studies in Spring/Summer 2025, Fall 2025, Winter 2026, or Spring/Summer 2026.

To be eligible for the award, applicants must be international students who accept an offer to a full-time program (excluding the ESL program) at Sheridan College. They must apply for a study permit, pay the required tuition fees by the deadline, and remain enrolled as full-time international students beyond the withdrawal period for their start term.

Established in 1967, Sheridan College is a renowned public polytechnic institute located in Ontario, Canada, with campuses in Oakville, Brampton, and Mississauga. It is known for its excellence in arts, technology, business, and applied sciences, offering over 90 programs across five faculties including Animation, Arts & Design, Applied Health, Applied Science & Technology, Humanities & Social Sciences, and Business.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: All international countries

  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded for any full-time program offered by Sheridan College, excluding the ESL program.

  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must:

    • Accept an offer to a full-time program (excluding ESL) before November 15, 2025.

    • Apply for a study permit and pay the required tuition fees by the stated deadline.

    • Register and remain enrolled as a full-time international student beyond the withdrawal deadline (10th day of classes).

    • Not receive a partial or full refund of fees for the awarded term.

    • Note: The award is granted only once per student across the eligible start terms (Spring/Summer 2025, Fall 2025, Winter 2026, Spring/Summer 2026).

  • C$2,000 tuition credit applied directly to the first semester fees.

  • Automatically awarded to eligible students — no separate application needed.

  • Helps reduce the financial burden of international education at Sheridan College.

  • Can be combined with other scholarships listed in the Letter of Acceptance.

Application Process

No separate application is required. Eligible students who accept their offer and apply for a study permit by the deadline will automatically receive the award. A C$2,000 credit will be applied to their student account within 3–5 business days after accepting the offer for an eligible program.
