Shanghai Government 2023 Scholarship Program for International Students (Fully-funded) Founded in 1951, Donghua University is a public higher education institution located in the metropolis of Shanghai (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, Donghua University (DHU) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 25,000-29,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Donghua University (DHU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

 To be eligible, you must;

  • Be a master’s degree holder under the age of 40 when applying for doctoral programs.
  • Be a bachelor’s degree holder under the age of 35 when applying for master’s programs.
  • Be a high school graduate under the age of 25 when apply for bachelor’s programs
  • Be excellent in academic and extra-curricular performance and yet not be rewarded any other scholarships offered by government, institutes or organizations in China.
  • Be a Non Chinese Individual with good health.

Benefits of Full Scholarship:

  • A full tuition fee waiver will be provided.
  • Free accommodation will be provided on campus.
  • A monthly stipend will be provided to all degree programs;
    • Doctoral Program CNY 3500
    • Master’s Program CNY 3000
    • Bachelor’s Program CNY 2500
  • International students will get Comprehensive Medical Insurance.

Benefits of Partial Scholarship:

  • A full tuition fee waiver will be provided.
  • International students will get Comprehensive Medical Insurance.

Application Process

  • Check first if DHU offers the academic program you plan to learn as well as whether it is covered by SGS scholarships or not.
  • Before apply to DHU, one can complete SGS online application at  http://study.edu.sh.gov.cn/en/ in order to save your information in the scholarships application database.
  • Then, complete the following steps to accomplish your application to DHU: Fill DHU’s online application and upload the complete application materials required at  https://admissions.dhu.edu.cn/.
