Palladium International is seeking an experienced Senior GEDSI Adviser to support the Australia Awards Global Support Mechanism. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape inclusive international scholarship delivery by providing high-level policy advice, safeguarding oversight, and GEDSI leadership across the global Australia Awards network. Applications are open to suitably qualified professionals with established working rights in Australia.

Applicants must have relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in gender equality, social sciences, or a related field, along with proven expertise in GEDSI policy, analysis, and implementation. Candidates must have established working rights in Australia, strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, and experience in safeguarding and inclusive program delivery.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Applicants legally permitted to work in Australia (no visa sponsorship available)
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: NA
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Tertiary qualification in gender equality, social sciences, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

  • Demonstrated expertise in GEDSI analysis, strategy development, and policy implementation

  • Strong knowledge of Australian Government development policies, including PSEAH, Child Protection, and safeguarding standards

  • Experience providing GEDSI technical advice in multicultural or international development contexts

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and writing skills

  • Experience in the international scholarship or education sector is highly desirable
