SENACYT/IFARHU: Panama

Based on a cooperation agreement concluded on 2 May 2008 with SENACYT (Secretaría Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología) and IFARHU (Instituto para la Formacíon y Aprovechamíento de Recursos Humanos), on the one hand, and the DAAD, on the other, graduate students, university teachers and researchers from Panama can be funded with scholarships to attend in-service training measures within the scope of Masters or Doctoral degree courses or to complete research stays at universities and research institutions in Germany.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applications are open to graduate students holding a Bachelors degree (licenciatura), university teachers and researchers from Panama
  • Age limit: 38 years max. (as a rule)

Offered Benefits

  • SENACYT: monthly scholarship payments

  • DAAD: travel allowance, initial language course, monthly partial scholarship payments, health insurance, research and study allowance, printing costs subsidy
