The academic program is preceded by a mandatory intensive Hebrew language course, called an Ulpan, to prepare you for life in Israel. A summer Ulpan is seven weeks, and an abbreviated four-week Ulpan is offered for students who will begin their studies in the Spring Semester.
Students take a full schedule of courses taught in English from our rich and diverse course schedule. A final updated course schedule is posted prior to the beginning of each semester. Each course awards 3 academic credits, for a total of up to 15 credits per semester.

Founded in 1956, Tel Aviv University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Tel Aviv (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants). Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Education, Israel, Tel Aviv University (TAU) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 25,000-29,999 students) coeducational higher education institution formally affiliated with the Jewish religion. Tel Aviv University (TAU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 63 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.
Eligibility Criteria
Study abroad programs at TAU International are open to accomplished undergraduate students enrolled at accredited higher education institutions outside of Israel. Generally, a minimum GPA of 80 on a scale of 100, 3.0 on a scale of 4.0, or equivalent applies, but exceptions may be made in the case of a strong application with a lower GPA.
