Awards provide students with an opportunity to be educated. To support students, the School of Veterinary Medicine at St. Matthews University is offering International Scholarships. The programme is available for the academic year 2026/2027.
The scholarship program is open to all accepted students who do not hold U.S. or Canadian citizenship or permanent residency. Eligible recipients must be enrolled in the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program and are required to maintain strong academic standing and make timely progress toward program completion without any remediation to retain the scholarship.
St. Matthew’s University School of Veterinary Medicine (SMUSVM) offers a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program that trains competent veterinarians in approximately 3.25 years, with a seven-semester structure, located in Grand Cayman. The curriculum covers basic sciences such as anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology in the initial semesters, followed by advanced clinical training in small- and large-animal medicine, surgery, and pathology.
