The University of Essex is pleased to offer SPAH Research Scholarship Scheme for the academic year 2017-2018. These scholarships are available to full-time UK, EU and overseas students within the School of Philosophy and Art History.
The School of Philosophy and Art History Doctoral Scholarships support talented applicants to undertake full-time postgraduate research study.

The SPAH Research Scholarship is a partial fee waiver worth £4,200 per year for a maximum of three years.

Applicants must have an offer for a postgraduate degree at Essex before they can apply for this award. To be considered for School of Philosophy and Art History scholarships we require a completed application form, CV and research proposal (up to 2,000 words).
