The School of Law will offer a limited number of scholarships for candidates entering one of the following taught masters programmes in the next academic year.
The scholarships will be awarded on a competitive basis and only to candidates with a very strong academic record. In general, a successful applicant will have either a first class or a high 2:1 undergraduate degree in a discipline relevant to their proposed LLM or M Res programme (or will hold such a degree before joining their programme at Reading). Non-British candidates will generally need to achieve the equivalent of a British first class or a high 2:1 undergraduate degree in a discipline relevant to their proposed programme.
Applicants for the Master of Research must additionally have very strong skills in research and writing and an interest in pursuing doctoral study or a research-oriented career.
