Scholarships for Annual Courses in Portuguese Language and Cultureand on Oriental Languages and Cultures

Eligibility Criteria

Annual scholarships are granted to applicants wishing to improve their knowledge of the language in question. Applicants must have learned the language for at least one year at a recognized school.

Applications will not be accepted from students already living in Portugal who wish to improve their knowledge of Portuguese language and culture and/or have already been granted a scholarship from another institution and for the same purpose.

Offered Benefits

The scholarship holder is granted a monthly amount established every year.

Tuition fees at Portuguese public institutions will be paid directly by the Fundação.

Travel expenses (return ticket) between the scholarship holder’s permanent place of residence and the destination country will be paid for by the Fundação Oriente.
