Scholarships at International University of East Africa, Uganda Established in 2010, International University of East Africa is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Kampala (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Central Region. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the The National Council for Higher Education, Uganda, International University of East Africa (IUEA) is a very small (uniRank enrollment range: 500-999 students) coeducational higher education institution. International University of East Africa (IUEA) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. This 9 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 60-70% making this Ugandan higher education organization a somewhat selective institution. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: For grasping the opportunity, aspirants have to take admission in the bachelors or diploma degree program at the university.
  • Supporting Documents: Aspirants have to submit the academic transcripts of all the previous school attended and the national id.
  • Admission Requirements: Students have to submit the following:
  • At least five passes at the Ugandan Certificate of Education (UCE) level obtained at the same sitting or its equivalent.
  • At least two principal passes at the Ugandan Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) level achieved at the same session or its equivalent.
  • Language Requirement: Applicants will often need to meet specific English language requirements to be able to study at the university.

Benefits: The International University of East Africa will provide a reduction in tuition fee up to 50% for students.
