Sato Yo International Scholarship at Nagasaki University, Japan Established in 1949, Nagasaki University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Nagasaki (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants). Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Japan, Nagasaki University is a coeducational higher education institution. Nagasaki University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. The admission rate range is 10-20% making this Japanese higher education organization a most selective institution. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

Offered Benefits

All the candidates of the undergraduate degree program will get to win a scholarship worth 120,000 Yen and graduate degree program applicants will receive a scholarship of 180,000 Yen. The sponsorship will be offered in the form of a monthly stipend.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: To be eligible to apply for this application , all candidates need to be enrolled in the applicable program first. After enrolling, they can send their application for this application .
  • Supporting Documents: The following documents must be provided together with the application for admission: Pre-qualification degree, copies of academic transcripts, certificates of English language proficiency, a statement, and a copy of passport.
  • Admission Requirements: To take part in an undergraduate degree program, you will need to have a high school diploma. And for the master’s degree program, you must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college and university.
  • Language Requirement: To take admission in an applicable program, candidates must have sufficient ability of the English language if they are non-native English speakers. Applicants must have at least intermediate language skills to take courses conducted in English.
