Santander Taught Postgraduate Scholarships


The Santander Group, will be awarding postgraduate scholarships to Bangor University for master’s students starting in 2015.

A number of scholarships worth £5,000 will be given to master’s students starting their programmes in 2015.

The scholarship fund aims to reward the most academically gifted students from countries that are supported by the Santander Universidades scheme.

The award will be given to students from the following 22 countries:

Santander Taught Postgraduate Scholarships Established in 1884, Bangor University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the medium-sized town of Bangor (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Wales. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, Bangor University is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Bangor University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

To apply you must be:

  • A national from one of the 22 Santander network countries listed above
  • You must be in possession of a formal offer letter to commence in 2015 on a Master’s course at Bangor University, i.e. a course leading to an MA, MSc, MBA, MTh, Med or LLM - If you haven’t already applied for a Masters programme at Bangor University you need to apply to the University using this link -http://www.bangor.ac.uk/courses/postgrad/taught/application.php.en
  • The studentships is only open to full-time students
  • Expecting to have, or already have, a good UK bachelor honours degree or equivalent degree from a recognised institution of higher education from your home country
