Scholarships are a great way to pay for the education of needy students. Therefore, Future/Sound with Scottish Association for Marine Science (SAMS) is providing the International Scholarships for the academic session 2025-2026.
The scholarship is open to international (non-EU) students who have applied or plan to apply for the undergraduate Marine Science program at SAMS. Applicants must demonstrate a strong interest in marine science and a commitment to ocean sustainability.
The Scottish Association for Marine Science (SAMS) is one of the UK’s oldest and leading marine science institutions, located in Oban on the scenic west coast of Scotland. Affiliated with the University of the Highlands and Islands, SAMS conducts world-class research on marine ecosystems, climate change, oceanography, and marine biotechnology.
University of the Highlands and Islands Information
Founded in 2011, University of the Highlands and Islands is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the medium-sized town of Inverness (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Scotland. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI) is a medium-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 7,000-7,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in marine science or any subject offered within the undergraduate marine science program at SAMS
Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must:
Be classified as an international (non-EU) student
Have applied for or intend to apply for an undergraduate degree in Marine Science at SAMS
Demonstrate a strong interest in marine science and a commitment to environmental stewardship

Offered Benefits
