Scholarships are a great way to pay for the education of needy students. Therefore, Future/Sound with Scottish Association for Marine Science (SAMS) is providing the International Scholarships for the academic session 2025-2026.
The scholarship is open to international (non-EU) students who have applied or plan to apply for the undergraduate Marine Science program at SAMS. Applicants must demonstrate a strong interest in marine science and a commitment to ocean sustainability.
The Scottish Association for Marine Science (SAMS) is one of the UK’s oldest and leading marine science institutions, located in Oban on the scenic west coast of Scotland. Affiliated with the University of the Highlands and Islands, SAMS conducts world-class research on marine ecosystems, climate change, oceanography, and marine biotechnology.
Founded in 2011, University of the Highlands and Islands is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the medium-sized town of Inverness (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Scotland.
