  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The award will be awarded to high school and college study programs in any subject

  • Applicants must write an engaging essay about how their family has helped them to become better drivers on Sacramento’s streets. Their family does not need to be parents but can be anyone they consider to be their “family,” people near and dear to their heart who help support them at life’s every turn.
  • Explain what this family member did to help you become a better driver. Be specific.
  • The essay should be roughly 500 words.
