The Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture in partnership with Uganda Technology and Management University is offering partial RUFORUM-UTAMU scholarships.

The funded education is available for 10 students interested in studying Masters in Monitoring and Evaluation and Master of Science in Computing.

RUFORUM-UTAMU Scholarship in Uganda for Master Founded in 2013, Uganda Technology and Management University is a private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Kampala (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Central Region. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the The National Council for Higher Education, Uganda, Uganda Technology and Management University (UTAMU) is a coeducational higher education institution. Uganda Technology and Management University (UTAMU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. Eligibility Criteria

Eligible Countries: Uganda students can apply for this application .
Acceptable Course or Subjects: The sponsorship will be awarded in any Master’s degree subject offered by the university.
Admissible Criteria: To qualify for a scholarship, Uganda students are eligible to apply who are interested in studying Masters in Monitoring and Evaluation and Master of Science in Computing.

Offered Benefits

The RUFORUM partial support will be for ONLY one year and will contain the following;

  • Half Functional Fees for One year (amounting to 300,000/=)
  • Tuition Fees for One year (amounting to 3,400,000/=). The first installment will be paid in Year 1 Semester 1 and the last installment to be paid in Year 2 Semester 1.

As a beneficiary of the partial award, one will be expected to pay the following fees which are outside the offer:-

  • Half Functional Fees for One year (amounting to 300,000/=)
  • National Council for Higher Education fees (20,000/= per annum)
  • Guild Fees (25,000/= per annum)

Application Process

  • How to Apply: For grasping the opportunity, candidates must visit UTAMU Campus located in Plot 6, Erisa Road, Bugolobi, Kampala with all your academic documents and apply through an online application form.
  • Supporting Documents: The university may ask you for proof of previous Certified copies of academic transcript, copies of both ‘0’ level and ‘A’ level result slips/Certificates, valid identification (driving permit, passport, current employer ID card or ID card from your previous institution) should be attached to this form.
  • Language Requirements: An approved exam in English has required for the applicant whose first language is not English.
