Each year the Research School of Finance, Actuarial Studies and Statistics ("RSFAS") within the ANU College of Business and Economics may offer up to five awards known as the RSFAS Bachelor of Finance, Economics and Statistics (Honours) Scholarship.

RSFAS Bachelor of Finance Established in 1946, Australian National University is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban setting of the small city of Canberra (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Australian Capital Territory. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Department of Education and Training, Australia, Australian National University (ANU) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 20,000-24,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Australian National University (ANU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 73 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria

The award will be available each year to a prospective ANU student who:

  • is an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen, holder of an Australian Permanent Resident visa or a permanent humanitarian visa or an international student who completed Year 12 in Australia (excluding any foundation studies).
  • has applied for admission through UAC and has an approved ATAR of 99. Direct applicants are not eligible.
  • has been granted admission and will enrol into the Bachelor Finance, Economics and Statistics (Honours) degree.

Offered Benefits

The scholarship provides a stipend of $10,000 and is payable in two equal instalments after the Census Date in the student's first two semesters of study.

Application Process

There is no application as students are automatically considered based on them meeting the eligibility criteria or conditions prescribed under the Eligibility section.
