The Rosa Luxemburg Foundation International PhD Scholarship, offered in affiliation with DIE LINKE (The Left Party), aims to support particularly gifted international doctoral candidates pursuing a doctorate or conducting doctoral research in Germany. The scholarship is founded on the values of social justice and solidarity, in alignment with the Foundation’s commitment to democratic socialism.
The scholarship programme is established to encourage talented candidates who will enroll in the PhD degree coursework. It is particularly gifted international doctoral candidates from any discipline (except for medical disciplines) and type of higher education institution with a promising topic for a doctoral thesis who can identify with and are committed to the democratic socialism and its values
Application Deadline: Applications are accepted twice a year, with deadlines on 1st April and 1st October.
