The Roger S. Smith Undergraduate Student Research Award in the Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation is intended to cultivate and support research partnerships between undergraduate students and faculty members.
The award is offered for research experience in the social sciences and humanities.

Eligibility Criteria
The award is open to full-time undergraduate students enrolled in the Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation who are entering their second, third or fourth year and who have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.0.
The student must have completed at least 30 credits but no more than 90 credits (plus or minus six credits) before the application deadline.
