Roehampton music awards for International Students in UK for Bachelor Founded in 2004, University of Roehampton is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of London (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Privy Council, University of Roehampton (UoR) is a medium-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 7,000-7,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. University of Roehampton (UoR) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 15 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • Students demonstrating high levels of excellence in music. They enable undergraduate and postgraduate students to meet some of the costs of developing their talents through lessons, courses, or the purchase of relevant equipment (instruments/strings/sheet music). In return, music scholars enhance the cultural life of the University through performances and other activities.
  • They are available to home, EU and international students.

Each successful scholar will receive the worth up to £1,200 per year to complete their study in the UK.

Application Process

  • How to Apply: Firstly, aspirants have to enrol in the undergraduate or postgraduate degree programme at the university. After that, you have to complete the online application form.
  • Supporting Documents: Applicants should prepare between 5-8 minutes of music to perform live at an audition or to be submitted as a video. This can be in any style or genre.
  • Admission Requirements: Students usually hold a second-class honours degree (certain programmes may require a 2:1) from a recognised British or overseas university.
  • Language Requirement: If you are considering full degree study at the University of Roehampton, postgraduate or research you must demonstrate that you possess at least a minimum standard of English language proficiency.
