The Rochus and Beatrice Mummert Foundation is offering Scholarships for talented students from Middle and South Eastern Europe to pursue a master’s degree in Germany at RWTH Aachen University, the University of Cologne, or the German Sport University Cologne. The program supports studies in engineering, natural sciences, economics, and tourism, including financial assistance, leadership training, internships, and mentoring.

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must come from specific Middle and South Eastern European countries and hold a completed bachelor’s degree in engineering, natural sciences, economics, or tourism studies. They should demonstrate excellent academic performance, strong German language skills, leadership potential, and community engagement.

Rochus and Beatrice Mummert Scholarships in Germany Founded in 1870, Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule Aachen (RWTH Aachen University) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Aachen (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), North Rhine-Westphalia.   • Acceptable Course or Subjects: Scholarships are awarded for master’s programs in Engineering, Business Administration & Engineering, Natural Sciences, Economics, and Tourism Studies at eligible German universities.

  • Admissible Criteria: Applicants must:

    • Hold a completed bachelor’s degree in one of the listed fields before the scholarship begins.

    • Demonstrate excellent academic performance, especially in mathematics.

    • Possess very good German language skills.

    • Show leadership potential, enthusiasm, strong personality, and community engagement.

    • Plan to return to their home country after completing their studies.

  • Monthly scholarship: €850–900

  • Tuition fees and research allowance (€500 + €228 per semester)

  • Travel allowance (€150–200)
